Thanks to lots of support from our members, local businesses, and especially the Charity Committee, TMC of BC raised $4,700 for Camp Marcella .
Camp Marcella was founded in 1947. This beautiful facility is over 200 acres of woodland with a clear fish laden lake and all the amenities designed to provide free camping experience to children with blindness, visual impairment and special needs. The greatest single benefit of attending Camp Marcella is the long term camaraderie fostered between campers. Campers are taught skills to allow them to be mainstreamed into regular classrooms throughout the state and are most likely the only visually impaired child in their school.
