The Mark Infield Orchestra will provide the evening's entertainment, playing rock 'n' roll music from the 50's and 60's. TMC of BC will raffle off an impressive array of prizes to raise funds for the Therapeutic Nursery. Attendees will enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a four-course dinner. Kosher meals are available upon request.
Each year, the President of TMC of BC has the privilege of choosing the Charity recipient. The current President of TMC of BC, Chris Brown, is also the mother of a Therapeutic Nursery Graduate. Barbie Brown attended the Therapeutic Nursery with her mom from March 1996 - August 1998, and is now doing very well in her mainstream third grade class. "We both learned a great deal at the Therapeutic Nursery, and I believe that we owe Barbie's success to our time there," says Mrs. Brown. "I am delighted that we will be able to help other families reap the same benefits of Nursery participation that we enjoyed."
TMC of BC wholeheartedly supports Mrs. Brown's choice of the JCC Therapeutic Nursery as the 2003 Charity recipient. Many of the members have witnessed firsthand the striking impact the Nursery has had in the Brown family's life. The Twins' Mothers Club of Bergen County is honored to help the Therapeutic Nursery in providing education for both the students and the families that face these challenges.
